Xiaomi’s Redmi has announced his first smartphone with Google’s Android Go platform in Europe. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by an quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
About the Specification of the Redmi Go, will be coming with a small 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The handset does not feature a notch display or infinity display like we see on the latest handsets. It will powered with a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC processor with 1.4GHz clocking speeds. There is a 1GB of RAM along with either 8GB of storage or 16GB. Which could extended via microSD card slot that is provided either to use a secondary SIM card or insert a memory card. The Android Go device will be coming out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system (Go Edition).
About the Camera, The devise has a 8MP single main camera on the rear with an LED flash, and for selfie a 5MP camera on the front without a LED flash.
The Redmi Go Smartphone backed by a 3000mAh battery on the back without any fast charging support. Well, it will be interesting to see how many would prefer to buy this entry-level smartphone, as it lacks many of the features in the modern era.
The price of the Smartphone is €80 in Europe. The devise will go for sale starting from February. The device will be coming in Black and Blue color options. It will also be available in Philipines from February but the pricing of the same has not been revealed yet.
